The Main Hall is a light and airy space with large windows on two sides providing plenty of light and pleasant views to the surrounding countryside.

The hall measures 18m by 9m (60ft by 30 ft). In addition to the ceiling lights there are adjustable wall lights which offer a welcoming atmosphere for evening use.  Heating is by blown air heaters. There are also ceiling fans which help to circulate the warm air in winter and to provide cool air in summer.

There is a stage which is 5m by 6.6m (16ft deep and 20ft wide). There are LED theatre lights available. Access to the stage and two changing rooms is via the main hall.

We also have a small projector screen and digital projector available for hire in conjunction with hiring the hall.

NB It is the Trustees policy that Parties or activities that have music will require booking the whole hall as the nature of the activity would adversely affect any other hirer due to the proximity of the rooms involved. This allows the hirer exclusive use of all facilities.

Meeting Room

The Meeting Room can be accessed either from the entrance hallway or from the Main Hall.

This room is ideal for smaller group activities and meetings or as an area for bars or buffets at large events when the whole hall is booked.

The Meeting Room is heated by radiators and is lit by dimmable LED ceiling and wall lights. The large windows offer wonderful views to the West across the playing field to Lollover Hill and the Levels. The glazed doors can be opened to give access to a small fenced grass area and the main recreation field.

The room measures 9m by 5m (30ft by 16ft) and  it can accommodate at least 40 seated 'theatre style' in rows, or 20 seated  'board room' style at tables.

The room adjoins the main hall via double doors.  These have frosted glass and soundproofing qualities, which provide privacy from the main hall. There is also a door which gives access to the adjacent kitchen with a serving hatch between the two.

There is a permanent projector and screen installed in this room for use in meetings.

Users are asked to bring tea towels.  It is essential that hirers bring bin bags to remove any waste materials at the end of the hiring period as we do not have waste collection from the hall.

This is a public space and cannot, therefore, be reserved for the sole use of hirers.
